Has come and gone and what a great time it was!
This year, over 95,000 residents, youth, and businesses participated in over 500 projects, collected over 80,000 canned goods and personal care items; and assisted with the operation of one of the largest volunteer initiatives in the Country. This event, in its 11th year, continues to get bigger and better. It is evident that the Great Days of Service is about people helping people, neighbor helping neighbor. We continue to see more and more people helping each other and making a difference, one day at a time.
The 2010 Great Days of Service could not have taken place without the support of our sponsors. On behalf of the non-profits, schools and all those impacted by this years event, we say thank you to all of our generous sponsors and supporters: Primerica, Gwinnett Medical Center, Cisco, Hands on Atlanta, Arthur A. (Buck) Jones and Associates, Inc, The Community Foundation for Northeast Georgia, ER Snell, the Gwinnett Daily Post, BB&T, Quinn Group, Georgia Power, Anderson Tate & Carr, Home Depot, Atlanta Community Tool Bank, Amigos for Christ, and GCPS Foundation. THANK YOU – you made a difference in Gwinnett County!
